Been looking for a cat to adopt as my own. To date, have not been very successful... I want to adopt a shelter cat, one that I can feel a connection with..its not easy. Went down to the Animal Lover's League today and looked at the cats housed there. The smell was incredibly overpowering but I braved it for a few hours trying to pick out The One. There was an obsenely fat neutered yellow male cat, and an angelic Siamese cross female, a short tail Tabby pointed male and lastly a dilute Calico female cat with short tail. The lady in charge, Cathy will get back to me on whether if they can be adopted. I really like the long tail Siamese girl...

There were hundreds of cats and many were clamering for my attention, some raking their claws across my back in an attempt to climb me... Too bad, I had to consider my parents' taste when choosing a cat, or I would have grabbed the wild Tabby cat with the thick sensuous coat. Still on my mind though...



I love cats more than dogs...its their nonchalant devil-may-care attitude plus the fact they really know how to relax... Dogs seemed a bit too strung up in comparison, and a little needy. Cats are seduction clothed in fur... Like my guy :OP
